Netflix is gearing up to deliver another new horror series, titled “Midnight Mass.” The series will see the streaming giant reteam with brilliant filmmaker Mike Flanagan, who was also behind their series “The Haunting of Hill House” and “The Haunting of Bly Manor.” The first trailer is here giving us glimpses of the twisted series and the darkness that lies ahead. In all honesty, it looks good as hell.

Kate Siegel (“The Haunting of Hill House”) stars alongside Zach Gilford (The Purge: Anarchy) and Hamish Linklater (“Legion”). The cast also includes Annabeth Gish (“The Haunting of Hill House), Michael Trucco (Hunter Killer), Samantha Sloyan (“Grey’s Anatomy”), Henry Thomas (“The Haunting of Hill House”), Kristin Lehman (The Chronicles of Riddick)Crystal Balint (The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco), Rahul Abburi (Killer Ransom), Matt Biedel (Altered Carbon), Alex Essoe (Doctor Sleep), Rahul Kohli (“Supergirl”)Robert Longstreet (Doctor Sleep)Annarah Shephard (The Midnight Club), and Igby Rigney (“Blue Bloods”).

Here’s an interesting tidbit, the series has ties to both Flanagan’s Gerald’s Game and his film Hush. “Midnight Mass” was the name of the book that the character Maddie Young wrote in Hush and appeared in Gerald’s Game (pictured above). “The Haunting of Hill House”, “The Haunting Of Bly Manor”, Hush, and Gerald’s Game are currently available on Netflix. If you haven’t seen them we urge you to check them out.
