Just a few days ago we shared the four new posters for Netflix’s hit supernatural series “Stranger Things.” Now, new details about the upcoming fourth season have come to light.

Three years after the season three finale, season four now has a premiere date, May 27, 2022! This season will be split, with the second half premiering on July 1st. Fans will get twice the season as the previous three, with all nine episodes having twice the run time. Talk about good news!

“With nine scripts, over 800 pages, almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects shots, and a runtime nearly twice the length of any previous season. Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet, but also the most rewarding one. Everyone involved is incredibly proud of the results, and we can’t wait to share with you.” The Duffer brothers said about season four.

There is bad news though, The show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, have announced that the series will end after the fifth season, but I guess eventually, all good things must come to an end.

The ensemble cast of the hit series includes Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Sadie Sink, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Cara Buono, Priah Ferguson, and Brett Gelman.
