Eli Roth has brought us many horror films, including the Hostel franchise, 2o01 Maniacs, Cabin Fever, and The Green Inferno. Now. the writer-director is bringing genre fans a new AMC series, “History of Horror” whose premiere date has just been announced.
Featuring masters of horror such as Stephen King, Jordan Peele, Robert Englund, Rob Zombie, John Landis, Jamie Lee Curtis and many more, the series will explore the genre, it’s history, its fans, and much more.
Each one-hour episode will take viewers on a chilling exploration of how horror has evolved through the years and its impact on society as well as why fans remain addicted to fear.
“History of Horror” will premiere on AMC on Sunday, October 14th at midnight eastern time.
