Following it’s hugely successful beta, Friday the 13th: The Game now has a set release date, with camp counselors being sent to the slaughter on May 26, 2017.
The game will be launched for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Steam, costing $40 at retail. With the ability to play as a counselor on the run, or Ol’ Hockey Mask himself, F13: The Game is looking to be a successful adaptation of the famous series.
There’s still a lot of the game that hasn’t been shown (multiple maps, Jason abilities, and the ever elusive single player campaign for starters), which just makes the wait hurt that much more. Probably not as much as a machete to the head, granted. But still painful.
