It’s summer, and no other pastime screams it than fishing. But what if you owe a debt to a literal loan shark and the only way to repay the debt is to fish? This is what awaits players in Studio Cartoa’s Psychological Horror fishing game, Loan Shark.
Loan Shark is a minimalist fishing game with heavy psychological tones mixed with dark humor and a twisted tale about a fisherman who owes a great debt, but while out fishing one night, he catches a talking magical fish that promises to make his money problems go away by making him rich, but its true motive remains to be seen.
The demo is available now on STEAM for free, and the full game will be released in August on Steam as well. The demo is ten minutes long, while the full game will be an hour. Studio Carota is an indie developer from Italy, made up of Luca and Nicola, two former AA-game devs who have turned to indie game development.
