Production on ‘The Conjuring 2’, which is said to be based on the events surrounding the “Enfield Poltergeist” that gripped a family in the late 1970’s in the borough of Enfield, England. James Wan will be directing ‘The Conjuring 2’. Wan is the director behind some of the most popular horror films of the past decade, including ‘The Conjuring’, ‘Insidious 1 and 2 ‘and ‘Saw’.
Both Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will be returning to play their roles of Loraine and Ed Warren, the world’s most renown experts in the world of the paranormal.
‘The Conjuring 2’ has already entered preproduction and is in the process of casting now. The paranormal thriller is set to be released in theaters on June 10, 2016.
