Shark Week is the perfect time for studios to announce their shark related movies and lately the SyFy channel has had a great run with shark features such as the ‘Sharknado’ franchise. SyFy movies are know for their creativity and stretch of possibilities and sometime laughable view on reality . Their latest feature, which is titled ‘Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf’, which will be premiering on July 19th.
Kevin O’Neill will be directing this crazy creature feature. Casper Van Dien stars along side Catherine Oxenberg and Akari Endo in ‘Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf’.
The movie follows the character of Ray (Van Dien) as he tracks down Sharktopus for a voodoo priest, but things get complicated when Whalewolf, half killer whale, half wolf, begins eating the locals. The people’s only hope is that Sharktopus can hunt down and kill Whalewolf.
