For years fans have been asking for a sequel to the 2010 horror-comedy ‘Tucker ans Dale Vs. Evil’. According to Slashfilms, our request may finally be answered. At the Horrorhound convention in Cincinnati, Ohio, the movie’s stars Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine stated that the producers have declared that the movie is now in development.
The two actors are extremely protective of ‘Tucker and Dale vs. Evil’ and refuse to make a sequel unless the quality lives up to the original. Tudyk and Labine have gone on record as saying “We’ll never make a shitty sequel”. Why can’t more actors take as much pride in their films? It may be a while before we see the sequel, the script has not been written yet, but at least we have it to look forward to.
In ‘Tucker and Dale vs Evil’ Tucker and Dale, head to their newly acquired “vacation home”, a cabin in the woods. The night they arrive, the two friends are doing a little night fishing when they spot a young woman in trouble, she’s bumped her head and fallen into the water. Tucker and Dale bring the collage student to their cabin, hoping that her friends will come for her in the morning. The group of college kids get the idea that Tucker and Dale are crazy hillbilly’s. Suddenly the college kids set out to attack the two men and rescue their friend, but things don’t exactly as planned.
‘Tucker and Dale vs Evil’ is one of my favorite movies, it is a hilarious, gore filled, side splitting, film and I am thrilled that we will get a part two!
