Former Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist Slash (Saul Hudson) isn’t new to the business of entertaining, between his music and his movie company Slasher Films, he’s a busy man. Now Slash has a new project, he’s making a slasher movie. He was quoted by The Hollywood Reporter as saying that the movie “…harkens back to the popular slasher franchises of the ’80s such as Halloween and Friday the 13th” . The Rock-God is teaming up with the Revolver Picture Company to produce the film that has not yet been named. The company said that the film will be”…ambitious in scope and budget.” and that it will hopefully be a “..franchise starter.” The script for the slasher was written by ‘Boogyman 2’s Brian Sieve.
Slasher Films is dedicated to the horror genre. They also have another project in the works titled “Nothing to Loose”, written by Jonathan W.C. Mills, which will be out next year. In ‘Nothing to Loose” a young family moves to a small rural town in Kansas to start over. The family comes face to face with an ancient demon that has an insatiable taste for blood.
