We were saddened to learn that Marcin Wrona, an up and coming Polish director, was found dead in is hotel room in Portland yesterday. He was only 42. Wrona most recent project ‘Demon’, was featured at the Toronto Film Festival only days ago, where he was set to introduce his film ‘Demon’ at the Gdynia Film Festival .The film has also been selected as a feature at Austin’s Fantastic Fest and Spain’s Sitges Film Festival. As if Wrona’s passing couldn’t get any sadder we have learned that he had just married Olga Szymaska, who co-prduced ‘Demon’. Police are currently investigating Wrona’s death. What caused Wrona to pass is a mystery at this time.
