Netflix is expanding their original content. ‘Black Mirror’ is one of their new projects. The series originally premiered in the UK back in 2011. Now Netflix is picking up where the show left off. The new eleven episode original series will be produced by House of Tomorrow. Charlie Brooker, of House of Tomorrow, is writing the script. Brooker had this to say:
“It’s very exciting – a whole bunch of Black Mirror episodes on the most fitting platform imaginable. Netflix connects us with a global audience so that we can create bigger, stranger, more international and diverse stories than before, while maintaining that ‘Black Mirror’feel. I just hope none of these new story ideas come true.”
‘Black Mirror’ reveals the dark side of life and technology. The series has a modern ‘Twilight’ zone type feel. The international premier date has not been announced.
