If you thought the El Rey Network couldn’t get any cooler, you were wrong! The Network, founded by filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, has just announced a handful of new acquisitions, including ‘Almost Human’, ‘The Twilight Zone’, ‘Freddy’s Nightmares’, ‘Human Target’, ‘V: The Series’, ‘Night Visions’ and, hold on to your seats, ‘Constantine’. Both ‘Constantine‘ and ‘Almost Human’ will debut on El Rey this November.  The network is in the process of acquiring even more series as we speak.

I know fans of ‘Constantine’ are very happy to hear this news. Fans took to social media in droves to vent their disappointment when NBC canceled the series after just one fantastic season. My hope is that El Rey will decide to pick up where NBC left off and continue the series that follows Constantine (Matt Ryan), a wizard/demon hunter. The series was based on the Hellblazer graphic novel by Garth Ennis and Warren Ellis. Constantine was created by Allen Moore and first appeared in the ‘Swamp Thing’ issue #37.

The El Rey Network already has a ton of cool shows, including the From Dusk Till Dawn original series. To learn more about the El Rey Network please visit their official website.
