One of Wes Craven’s last projects, ‘The Girl in the Photographs’, has been acquired by Vertical Entertainment. Vertical plans to release the thriller some time next year.
In The Girl in the Photographs’, a bored young woman, living in a sleepy little town, starts receiving photographs of brutally murdered young women. A celebrity photographer arrives in town after seeing the photographs after seeing the photographs, but are the photos real or is the man behind them simply a great artist faking the brutal scenes?
Katharine Isabelle, Christy Carlson Romano, Kenny Wormald, Claudia Lee, Miranda Rae Mayo, Toby Hemingway and Eva Bourne star along side ‘The X-Files’ actor Mitch Pileggi and ‘Harold and Kumar’s’ Kal Penn. Nick Simon co-wrote the film with Osgood Perkins. Wes Craven and Bawaf Alghanium served as executive producers.
