In the 1940’s, post WWII, 3 political prisoners were part of a Russian experiment. The group was kept in a room and forced to inhale gas that prevented them from sleeping for thirty days. The experiment was designed to study the effects of sleep deprivation. The men went insane and carried horrible self mutilation, at least according to Creepypasta. Now, a short film, based on the “The Russian Sleep Experiment”, has been made.
The short film was written and directed by Timothy Smith and stars Michael Alexander, Gary Brunner, Michael Bugard, Michael Stephen Bryant, Zachary Ross and Brett Solferino. ‘The Russian Sleep Experiment’ is now making it’s rounds at film festivals and is currently running a Kickstarter campaign .
