Inherent Vice actress Katherine Waterston has joined the cast of Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant. Waterston has been cast in the lead female role of “Daniels”. She will star along side Michael Fassbender, who will reprise his role as the android David. Noomi Repace will also be returning for Covenant.
The film “…begins with the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy. There, the crew discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world – whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”
