IFC Midnight has revealed the first poster The Abandoned (aka The Confines). Eytan Rockways makes his directorial debut with this horror-thriller that will open in select theaters and on VOD on January 8th.
In the film, a troubled young woman, trying to get her life in order, takes a night job as a security guard at an abandoned apartment building. She fights to not let her mind play tricks on her while she patrols the dark, aging, building, but as the night progresses she begins to witness strange things and realizes that it’s not all in her head.
Louisa Krause (Return) stars along side Jason Patric (The Lost Boys), who play’s the role of her partner. Mark Margolis (Breaking Bad) also appears in The Abandoned. The trailer should arrive soon.
