When did stores get the power to change the names of horror films to better suit their opinion of what consumers will find okay? Wal-Mart has done it again. The last film they renamed was A Christmas Horror Story, which they changed to A Holiday Horror Story. Now, Deathgasm has fallen to the big-chain store. The movie will now be known as Heavy Metal Apocalypse, censorship at it’s finest (insert eye-roll) . Yes, you read that right. What is so offensive about the title “Deathgasm“? Nothing, in my opinion. I have to wonder, will they will start re-writing books next? Where does it end?

No matter if you’re a metal-head or just a regular horror fan, Deathgasm will rock you. This is a fast paced, brutal, but hilarious horror flick is one you don’t want to miss. The film, written and directed by Jason Lei Howden, stars Milo Cawthorne, James Blake, Kimberly Crossman, Sam Berkley and Daniel Cresswell.

In Deathgasm, two teenage boys, with hopes of music stardom,unknowingly raise an ancient entity, known as “The Blind One”. They have no clue of the chaos that is about to ensue. Now the guys, along with help from their friends and band members, must fight to survive and save the world from the demon.
