Netflix has built a great reputation for their original series and films. Netflix is presently developing three new original horror films for their streaming service.
The first film, titled ARQ, will be directed by Tony Elliot. ARQ centers on a man trapped in his house, surrounded by masked men. He must protect a new technology that could deliver unlimited energy and end the wars that have consumed the world. Netflix has cast Robbie Amell and Rachael Taylor for ARQ.
The next film is Clinical, directed by Alistar Legrand (The Diabolical). The dark thriller centers on a psychiatrist that is trying to pick up the pieces of her life after she is the victim of a vicious attack, while attempting to help a new patient.
In I Am the Pretty Thing that Lives in the House a young nurse has been hired to care for a best-selling author of ghost stories. The author has chosen to live out her last days in her beloved country home – a home that has its own terrifying ghost story. Golden Globe winner Ruth Wilson has signed on to star in the film.
