The premiere date for Robert Kirman’s Outcast has just been announced as Friday, June 3rd. The ten episode Cinemax series stars Patrick Fugit as the main character Kyle Barnes, a young man in search of answers to why he has suffered from demonic possessions all of his life. During his quest to understand what happened to him, he comes in contact with others suffering from the same affliction.
Pete Burris (Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2) co-stars along side Lacy Camp (Red Band Society), Julia Crockett (The Absence), Philip Glenister (Demons) Melinda McGraw (Mad Men), David Denman (13 Hours), Grace Zabriskie (The Killing), Cathrine Dent (The Shield), Brent Spiner (Independence Day) and The Americans actor Lee Tergesen.
The series will be directed by Adam Wingard (You’re Next), and Julius Ramsey, who directed several episodes of The Walking Dead. Robert Kirkman will be serving as a writer for the 10 episode series, as well as an executive producer along with Chris Black and David Alpert. Not only has a release been set for this June, the supernatural series has already been renewed for season 2, which will debut in 2017.
