Indie filmmaker Zoe Kavanagh is kicking ass and taking names with Taryn Barker: Demon Hunter, written by Kavanagh and Tony Flynn. Niamh Hogan stars alongside Michael Parle, Kevin O’Malley, Alan Talbot, Nic Furlong, Margarita Grillis and Tapes Jenkinson.
Demon Hunter centers on a young girl tormented by the tragedies of her past. She is brought in for questioning by the police as a suspect in the murder of a man, who she claims was a demon. Detective Beckett realizes that she is the same girl he made a promise to many years ago to track down the man who murdered her twelve-year-old sister. Taryn tells the detective that a demon named Falstaff will stop at nothing to claim her soul. Falstaff kidnapps Detective Beckett’s daughter. Now his only hope of getting her back is with the demon hunter’s help.
