Fans of foreign horror should keep an eye out for South Korea’s new action film Train to Busan, which debuted at Cannes earlier this month. The film, being compared to WWZ, serves a live-action sequel for the animated film Seoul Station, according to Dread Central.
Directed by Sang-ho Yeon, Train to Busan is set in the bustling city of Busan, which is plagued by a zombie outbreak. A group of survivors band together and board a train in hopes of escaping, but discover their differences may prove more dangerous than the zombies that they are facing.
Yoo Gong, Dong-seok Ma, Yu-mi Jeong, Ahn So-hee, Kim Soo-ahn, and Jung Yu-mi star in this action-packed flick.
Train to Busan will debut in South Korea theaters later this summer with a wider release to follow.
