Matthan Harris’ upcoming 2017 cult thriller Baphomet receives it first teaser trailer. Serving as writer, director, star and producer along side Incisive Pictures, Harris has now begun that casting process and is reportedly “in talks with some very exciting screen legends”.
In Baphomet, a Northern Californian family celebrates the pregnancy of their 24-year-old daughter, but the celebration is interrupted when satanic cult leader Henrik Brandr (Giovanni Lombardo Radice) unexpectedly visits the family’s ranch. The leader offers the family a large sum for their farm, claiming it is sacred to his congregation. Jason Richardson, the father, rejects the offer. Displeased the leader will not stop until the family sells or leaves the property – even if it means murdering the family.

After the leaders curse takes hold, the Richardson family seek help from Marybeth, a white witch. Soon they discover a terrible secret about their home, and the reason the cult holds it in such high regards. The family realizes that they must protect their home at all costs, and a violent battle of good and evil ensues.
