The nomination list for this year’s Emmys was released today. Robert Kirkman, Greg Nicotero and Scott Gimple must be celebrating. Even though no actors were nominated (they should have been), The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead: flight 462, and Talking Dead all made the list for the coveted awards.  We will have to wait until September 18th to find out who will take one home.

The Walking Dead is up for Emmys in both the Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Supporting Role and Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup For A Series, Limited Series, Movie Or Special Categories.

Flight 462 is nominated for Outstanding Short Form Comedy Or Drama Series. The 16-part series’ lead actress Michelle Ang earned a nomination for Outstanding Actress In A Short Form Comedy Or Drama.

The Talking Dead, hosted by Chris Hardwick, recaps and discusses each episode of The Walking Dead moments after it airs. It received its nomination in the category of Outstanding Interactive Program.

The series have all earned their nominations. But we are disappointed that no cast member from The Walking Dead made the list. Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Steven Yeun and Dani Gurira should have been nominated, but that’s just my opinion.

Congratulations to The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 , and Talking Dead! We will be rooting for you!
