Mark Duplass tweeted earlier that he was “Trying on wardrobe today for Creep 2,”, the sequel to his 2014 found footage thriller. He also mentioned that “This one’s going to get weird.” The sequel will be the second film of what is meant to be a trilogy. Duplass and Patrick Brice will be starring, with Brice directing.
In the first film, Aaron (Patrick Brice), looking for work stumbles across a cryptic online ad that reads “1,000 for the day. Filming service. Discretion is appreciated.” When Aaron arrives a the remote cabin he meets Josef (Duplass), his odd subject for the day. As Aaron begins to film things get weird. The later it gets the stranger Josef’s actions become. Soon it is clear that Josef is not who he says he is and that his motives for hiring Aaron are not what they seem.
There has not been a release date announced for Creep 2, but we will keep you posted. Here’s the first film’s trailer to refresh your memory.
