A casting update for ‘Insidious: Chapter 4’ reveals that four new actors have joined the upcoming film. Kirk Acevedo (The Walking Dead, pictured), Bruce Davison (The Lords of Salem), Spencer Locke (Resident Evil: Extinction), and Caitlin Gerard (Smiley) will co-star alongside previously announced cast members Lin Shaye (Insidious I-III), Josh Stewart (The Collector), Angus Sampson (Insidious I-III) and the franchise’s co-creator Leigh Whannell (Insidious I-III).
Whannell penned the script for first three films and wrote ‘Chapter 4’. James Wan , Jason Blum, and Oren Peli are producing. Steven Schneider, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Charles Layton will serve as executive producers. Sony Pictures will both finance and distribute, according to Deadline. The plot has not been released as of yet.
‘Insidious: Chapter 4’ is set to open in theaters nationwide on October 20, 2017. We will update you when we know more.
