Back in May, we reported that the ‘Predator’ reboot had been given a new 2018 release date. News came today, via Deadline, that actor Benicio Del Toro is currently in talks to star.

Del Toro has long history of great roles and a lot of talent. He has starred in many films including ‘Sicario’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, ‘The Wolfman’, ‘Sin City’, and ‘The Usual Suspect’. Del Toro also made a cameo on an episode of ‘Tales from the Crypt’.

‘The Predator’ will be directed by Shane Black who is very familiar with the 1987 original film. He should be, he was in it. Black played the role of Hawkins and  co-starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is in talks to return for reboot. Black co-wrote the script with Fred Dekker (Monster Squad).
