The Walking Dead’s Alanna Masterson Fires Back At Body Shamers

Alanna Masterson doesn’t put up with walkers or bad guys on screen, so why would some internet bullies think they could get away with talking smack in real life? ‘The Walking Dead’ actress who plays Tara, put her foot down Tuesday and explained to a couple of trolls that cyber bullying or commenting on her appearance is not okay. The new mom, who welcomed a beautiful daughter late last year, broke it down for people who were attempting to body shame her on Instagram. Dear Instagram trolls, body shamers, and the men and women who think it’s ok to comment on my weight: I hope you don’t have children. And if you do, I hope you teach them about kindness and acceptance. I hope they learn that it isn’t okay to make fun of people or call people names.” Her message was posted along with a photo of her adorable little girl. Not only did Masterson make herself clear, she

Lights Out Made Me Want To Leave The Lights On – A Spoiler Free Review

Normally, when a movie is being hailed “the best horror movie” months before its theatrical debut, I wonder two things: is the movie that good, or does it just have a lot of big names and a great PR team. ‘Lights Out’ is one of those movies. Months before it opened in theaters the buzz was that it was going to be the best horror film of 2016. But is it? Directed by David F. Sandberg and co-written by Eric Heiseerer, the film is based on the short film by the same name by Sandberg. With horror master James Wan producing the film, it had my attention from the moment it was announced (I am huge fan of Wan). Living in rural Georgia and the closest theater being over an hour’s drive away, I had to wait till ‘Lights Out’ was released on DVD to check it out. Last night, I finally had the chance to see it for myself.

John Carpenter Gives An Update On His Reboot Of Halloween

Big news came this past May when it was announced that John Carpenter is teaming up with Blumhouse for reboot of ‘Halloween’. It was reported that Carpenter would serve as executive producer and possibly create the score. Which was huge news, seeing that Carpenter has not been involved with the franchise in decades. Unfortunately, the film hasn’t moved any further along than it was back in October when Jason Blum stated they were still looking for the best way to approach the reboot. During a conversation with Dark Universe, Carpenter revealed that it hasn’t gotten any closer to filming. I’ve known Jason [Blum] for a while, he came to me and said ‘How do you feel about this now that rights have diverted?’ and I said, ‘Sure, why not? I’ll give it a shot and I’ll also try to support the director.’ We don’t have a script yet, so I can’t tell you what it’s about, but I guarantee you

Frankenstein is Not My Name

At my day job, I dress up in a shirt, tie and polished shoes. I am not a shirt, tie and polished shoes kind of guy. Therefore, I have found fun little ways to break out of the tie-noose, things like various colors of shoelaces and funky belt buckles. No, I’m no Wolowitz, but I am happy with my little collection. Among my favorite are a couple of different skull buckles, Freddy Krueger’s claw and the head of Frankenstein’s monster. I know, by now you are asking “what’s the point?” But here it is. In my opinion, in the monster world there are the big four: Dracula, Wolfman, The Mummy, and Frankenstein’s Monster. I do believe that there are very close second tier villains like Kruger, Voorhees, Ghost Face, Swamp Thing, and then spirals down into an infinite number of characters, but I want to focus on the Big Four. Here’s the point: The monster has no name? Yes, people
