Beginning this May, after nearly a decade, a new ‘Star Trek’ series will be coming to television and to CBS’ streaming service.
News has come that Sonequa Martin-Green, who currently stars as Sasha on AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’, will be playing Lieutenant Commander Rainsford aboard the U.S.S. Discovery on ‘Star Trek: Discovery’.
The question on the mind of many of Green’s fans is what will this mean for her character Sasha? Currently, ‘The Walking Dead’ is on its mid-season break. When the show returns this February the group from Alexandria will be trying to build bridges with the surrounding settlements in hopes that they will a unite to take out Negan and his Saviors. Does this mean that Sash won’t around much longer? Hopefully she will be there to see Negan’s fall and get justice for Abraham’s death.
