Addisyn Wallace Talks With Us About Her Acting Debut In The Indie Sleeper Hit ‘Pitchfork’

Many actors and actress get their start at a young age. That is the case with young actress and dancer Addisyn Wallace. Wallace recently made her feature debut with Glenn Douglas Packard‘s slasher film ‘Pitchfork‘. Addisyn and I sat down to talk about her role, her background as a dancer, and what she hopes the future will bring. The Friday the 13th Reboot Hunts Down A SFX Company And A Mask

Breck Eisner is in the directors chair for reboot of ‘Friday the 13th’, which we reported earlier this week was finally entering production. Casting is now underway and filming set to begin in March in Conyers, Georgia. The film, penned by Aaron Guzikowski (Prisoners), will take us on a journey deeper into Jason’s history. Not only will we learn more about our favorite machete toting killer, we will see Pamela Voorhees and for the first time on film we will meet Jason’s father Elias Voorhees. F13Franchise.com is now reporting that Platinum Dunes has hired Legacy Effects to bring Jason back to life by creating the special effects, props, and Jason’s iconic mask. Word is, the new mask will resemble the mask from ‘Friday the 13th: Part 3’. In that film Richard Brooker wore the Jason mask which had red chevron markings, scratches, and had a yellow hue. A Killer Comes ‘When The Street Lights Go On’

Brent Morgen’s ‘When the Street Lights Go On’ just premiered as part of this year’s Sundance Film Festival, and we have the new trailer. Meant to be the pilot for a Hulu original series, the episode was written by Chris Hutton and Eddie O’Keefe, and is now independent and looking for a network. ‘When the Street Lights Go On’ is set in the summer of 1983. “A string of unusual occurrences in a small Illinois town culminate with the shocking murders is a popular high school girl and her teacher. When a fellow student, and neighbor, discovers the bodies while riding his bike home one night, the quiet suburban lives of the town’s residents are irrevocably shaken.” The trailer looks great, I would love to see someone like Netflix snatch it up.

A Barrel of Terror in Bear Brook Park

I like to peruse the garage sales that pop up on long weekends during the short Canadian summers an I remember a couple of years ago I was at one particular sale that was sketchy right off the bat. I was afraid to touch anything and the large, scraggle-bearded man who hacked between drags on his cigarette kept trying to push various superfluous, dust covered items into my hands. My interest in his ramshackle garage sale was dwindling until I saw a stack of 6 cardboard boxes labeled “Mystery box” with prices anywhere from $5.00 – $10.00 on them. I am a sucker for a mystery. Hesitantly, I picked up one box, handed a crisp bill to the man and left with my box of secrets. I justified by thinking that the mystery itself was worth the cash I had spent…I was wrong. Witness A Dark Entity In The Trailer For ‘Nails’

Writer-director Dennis Bartok’s supernatural thriller P.O.V., now retitled ‘Nails’, is set to have its world premiere at the Audi Dublin International Film Festival this February. The film, co-written by Tom Abrams, “follows the story of Dana Milgrom, a track coach who, having survived a near-death car accident, finds herself completely paralysed and trapped inside her own body. While recovering, she becomes convinced that an evil presence exists inside her hospital room and is intent on killing her – and she may not be the only target.” ‘Nails’ stars Shauna Macdonald as Dana. Steve Wall, Ross Noble, Leah McNamara, Charlotte Bradley, Dennis Bartk, Robert O’Mahoney, and Muireann D’Arcy co-star with Richard Foster-King playing the role of the dark entity, Nails. Jeremy And Jason London Will Face A ‘Mississippi River Shark’

Twin brothers Jeremy London (Mallrats) and Jason London (Dazed and Confused) are gearing up to film ‘Mississippi River Shark’. Set to begin filming in Ocean Springs the February, the movie will premiere on Syfy later this year, the Sun Herald reports. While the synopsis and casting has not been announced, we do have an idea of what the film may involve. Bull Sharks and the occasional Great White have been spotted and caught in the Mississippi river, in fact the sharks have been found as far up as 1,750 miles up the river. There have been reports of injuries over the years. New Synopsis Discovered For Jeepers Creepers 3

Back last year we reported that the long-awaited sequel ‘Jeepers Creepers 3’ was finally on its way, but the film stalled thanks to problems caused by writer-director Victor Salva’s dark past. Today, we have good news for fans of the franchise. ‘Jeepers Creepers 3’ has now entered pre-production and is set to begin next month in Louisiana instead of Vancouver, Canada like originally planned. Gina Phillips will be returning to her role as Trish, who lost her brother Darry (Justin Long) to the Creeper in the original 2oo1 film. Kristen Stewart Goes Glamorous On New Poster For Paranormal Thriller Personal Shopper

A new poster (above) has arrived for the ghost film ‘Personal Shopper’, starring ‘Twilight’ actress Kristen Stewart. Don’t worry the only thing that sparkles in this film are the sequins. Stewart as a high-fashion personal shopper to the stars who also happens to be a spiritual medium. While grieving the death of her twin brother, she haunts his Paris home, determined to make contact with him. Written and directed by Oliver Assayas, the film also stars Lars Eldinger, Sigrid Bouaziz, Andrew Danielsen Lie, Ty Olwin, Hammou Graïa, Nora von Waldstatten, and Bejamin Biolay. ‘Personal Shopper’ will open in theaters on March 10, 2017 from IFC Midnight.

The 80s Revenge Movie ‘The Nail Gun Massacre’ Is Getting A Remake

Filmmakers are taking the remake fad to a whole new level. The 1985 low budget (and I mean low) film ‘Nail Gun Massacre’ is the latest film being remade. ‘Fear Clinic’ director Robert Hall and Texas Frightmare Founder Lord Cryer are teaming up for the project. Hall will be directing from the script by ‘Appetites’ writer Darren Bevill.
