Fox has ordered the pilot for the paranormal comedy ‘Ghosted’, starring Adam Scott and Craig Robinson. Robinson and Scott have worked together before. They co-starred together in the 2015 comedy ‘Hot Tub Time Machine 2’ (pictured below).
The series, being described as a funny version of ‘The X-Files’, follows “a cynical skeptic (Robinson) and a genius ‘true believer’ in the paranormal (Scott) who are recruited by the The Bureau Underground to look into the rampant ‘unexplained’ activity in Los Angeles, all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race.”
Tom Gormican, who wrote the pilot, will serve as executive producer along with Naomi Scott, Oly Obst, Mark Schulman, Scott and Robinson. ‘Workaholics’ Kevin Etten will also be executive producing as well as working as the showrunner, Variety reports. We will update you when we know more.
