Twin brothers Jeremy London (Mallrats) and Jason London (Dazed and Confused) are gearing up to film ‘Mississippi River Shark’. Set to begin filming in Ocean Springs the February, the movie will premiere on Syfy later this year, the Sun Herald reports.
While the synopsis and casting has not been announced, we do have an idea of what the film may involve. Bull Sharks and the occasional Great White have been spotted and caught in the Mississippi river, in fact the sharks have been found as far up as 1,750 miles up the river. There have been reports of injuries over the years.
Jeremy London, who is a resident of Ocean Springs, had this to say when speaking with the Sun Herald:
My brother, Jason, talked the producers of the film into coming down to Ocean Springs and checking it out and they decided to shoot it here,” said “Mallrats” and “Party of Five” actor Jeremy London, whose twin, Jason London, starred in “Dazed and Confused.” “They came here and fell in love with the place and put me in charge of casting.”
