Netflix has announced a new original series, ‘Castlevania’. The “super violent” series, likely to be animated, will be helmed by Adi Shankhar (Judge Dredd) and Federator (Adventure Time).
‘Castlevania’, also known in Japanese as ‘Akumajō Dracula’, is based on the video game franchise by the same name . The game series, first released in 1986, was created and developed by Konami, an centers on the Belmont family, a clan of vampire hunters, and their battle with Lord Alucard.
Netflix has not released and other details about the upcoming series other than we will see it premiere later this year. But we will keep you posted.
