Ahead of its April premiere date, the teaser for Hulu’s new anthology series, Dimension 404, has arrived. Reportedly, the six-episode series, inspired by the Internet’s “404” code, aims to evoke “that 3 AM feeling of wandering onto the weird side of the web, stumbling upon stories that cannot be explained in the world that we know.”
Joel McHale has signed on to play Mr. Maker, a charismatic, eccentric, and slightly patronizing founder of a matchmaking service. Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland has been cast as Chloe, a cute high school girl who is just discovering boys, Variety reports. Scream Queen’s Lea Michele will play the play Amanda, a warm-hearted girl who turns to the matchmaker service after a bad breakup. And Robert Buckley (iZombie) is cast as Adam who falls hard and fast for Amanda. Megan Mullally, Constance Wu, Patton Oswalt, Ashley Rickards, Sterling Beaumon, Ryan Lee, Matt Lauria, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Malcolm Barrett will co-star. Freddie Wong is in the director’s chair.
Dimension 404 will premiere on Hulu on April 4th from RocketJump.
