Master of horror John Carpenter may have retired from directing, but he continues to work within the genre. In fact, Carpenter is working on something brand new, a comic series. Titled ‘Tales of Science Fiction’, the monthly comic anthology series will “show us the darkness and wonder of everything the genre has to offer.” That’s right, we said monthly.
Carpenter and his wife, Sandy King, will be working together to deliver the comic through King Comics, Carpenter’s Asylum, and Tales For A Halloween Night, JoBlo reports.
The first issue “Vault” was written by James Ninness with art by Andres Esparza and will arrive on shelves on July 26, 2017.
