The new trailer for Sofia Coppola’s The Beguiled, based on Thomas Cullinan, has arrived and takes us back to the Civil War-era.
The thriller has an all-star cast that includes Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman, Kristen Dunst, and Colin Farrell. Angourie Rice, Oona Laurence, Oona Laurence, Addison Riecke, Emma Howard, Matt Story, Wayne Pére, and Ron J. Pierce co-star.
At a girls’ school in Virginia during the Civil War, where the young women have been sheltered from the outside world, a wounded Union soldier is taken in. Soon, the house is taken over with sexual tension, rivalries, and an unexpected turn of events.
The Beguiled will open in select theaters on June 23, 2017, followed by its nationwide theatrical release on June 30th from Focus Features.
