Hulu’s upcoming series Castle Rock from horror master Stephen King and J. J. Abrams has been building an incredible cast with names like André Holland (Moonlight) and Carrie star Sissy Spacek. Now, Deadline is reporting that Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe actress Jane Levy has signed on to co-star.

Set in King’s multiverse, Castle Rock is named after the fictional town in Maine that is featured in several of King’s novels.
Spacek is set to play the role of Ruth Deaver, the estranged mother of Henry (Holland), a retired professor whose fading memories may hold a key to Castle Rock’s unsettling past. Levy has been cast as Jackie, the death obsessed, self-appointed historian of Castle Rock.

Dustin Thomason and Sam Shaw developed Castle Rock, set to begin filming later this year, based on characters created by King. They also will serve as executive producers along with Ben Stephenson, Liz Glotzer, and J. J. Abrams. The series is from Warner Bros. and Bad Robot.
