News has come that the sequel to Bryan Bertino’s 2008 hit home invasion film Strangers has officially wrapped filming with Johannes Roberts’ (47 Meters Down) in the directer’s chair.
Emmy Award nominee Christina Hendricks (Mad Men) stars alongside Bailee Madison (The Good Witch), Martin Henderson (The Ring), and Lewis Pullman (Aftermath). As for the villains of the film, hiding behind those infamous masks, The Walking Dead’s Lea Enslin will play the role of “Pin-up Girl”, Ghost Lake actress Emmy Bellomy will don the mask of “Dollface” and Damian Maffei, also of Ghost Lake, will be wearing the burlap bag.
The Strangers 2 centers on a family whose road trip takes a turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park and after the power goes out they decide to hunker down for the night in a borrowed trailer. Under the cover of darkness, three familiar masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test their every limit.
