Vertical Entertainment has now announced the August release date for The Veil from director Brent Ryan Green.
Written by Jeff Goldberg and starring William Levy (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter) and William Moseley (Chronicles of Narnia franchise), is an action-filled adventure into a world filled with war and vengeance.
Set in a war-torn land where tribal factions live in fear of annihilation, The Veil tells the story of a deadly warrior (William Levy) leading a destructive war campaign. When he is betrayed by his own and left for dead, he is healed by a mysterious princess and taken in by a hidden tribe that believes he was chosen to wage a final battle.
Serinda Swan (Marvel’s Inhumans), Nick E. Tarabay (Arrow), Billy Blair (Machete Kills) and Romanian Olympic gold medallist Nadia Comaneci co-star in The Veil, described as a “refreshing fantasy film that eschews digital effects for real vistas”.
