New ‘Predator’ Poster Strikes Fear Into A City

Director Shane Black is taking The Predator out of the jungle and into the streets by the look of the film’s new art (below) which seems to pay homage to 1990’s Predator 2.
At a licensing expo in London recently, 20th Century Fox unveiled the first official poster for the film in which a lightning strike takes the shape of the Predator. They have now officially released the art via the Predator Fan App. where you see the streak of lightning in action as it strikes fear into a city.
 


 
In The Predator, starring Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Boyd Holbrook, Edward James Olmos, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Alfie Allen, and Yvonne Strahovski, a group of humans face the fierce aliens who have returned to earth for a hunt.
 

 
There is another connection between The Predator (2018) and Predator 2, Jake Busey will be playing the son of Gary Busey’s (his real-life father) character in Predator 2.
 

 
The Predator will invade theaters nationwide on August 3, 2018.
