Oats Studios has unveiled the trailer for the next short film in the series from director Neill Blomkamp (Elysium, Chappie), titled Lima.
Lima is released following its predecessors Rakka, Firebase, Zygote. Together they are known as The Oats Studios Volume 1. Once the series is complete, one or more are likely to become a feature film.
In an interview Blomkamp gave us a little taste of what Lima is about.
Lima’ is more like a thriller, sort of a conspiracy thriller. It’s a slightly different genre, unlike the three that are out.” Blomkamp continued. “That one is a little slower burn. That is the final piece coming out from this first batch.”
The film, which longer than the other films in The Oats Studios Volume 1 collection, will explore “the ideas of multinational corporations, secret government programs and failed scientific experiments”.
