Christmas is right around the corner and so is the release of Once Upon a Time at Christmas, the new violence-fueled holiday film from director Paul Tanter.
Sayla de Goede and Simon Philips star as the way too jolly, murderous couple. Brook Fletcher, Laurel Brady, Jeff Ellenberger, Devon Mary Doherty, and Christina Vernucci co-star. Christopher Jolley, Simon Philips, and Paul Tanter penned the script. The film hails from the team behind The Last Scout, White Collar Hooligan series, and the vampiric TV series Age of the Living Dead.
In the film we meet Santa and Mrs. Claus: he’s a one-eyed fiend, she’s a curvy, bat-swinging blonde. This serial-killer couple is terrorizing the holidays in an upstate New York town with a series of horrific homicides. Though the victims seem random — a mall Santa, a smooching couple, an innocent family — high-schooler Jennifer and clever cop Sam begin to unravel the sinister pattern behind the slayings. Can they stop the murders before Christmas comes — and there’s no one left to celebrate?”
