YouTube and Google released a statement announcing that internet disgrace, Logan Paul, will no longer be associated with them and was removed from Google’s advertising tier Google Preferred. That means Paul will no longer receive ad revenue for his videos, in short, he won’t be making money on YouTube and Google anymore. To add more salt on the wound, YouTube Red will be halting shows and movies that Paul was involved with, including the sequel to the thriller The Thining, putting the production in jeopardy, maybe Christopher Plummer is available?
The action taken by Paul’s former gravy trains was a result of relentless public outcry as well as outcries from other YouTubers over Paul’s video of him in Japan’s Aokigahara forest where he and his friends filmed the body of a suicide victim and proceeded to make jokes about it. Paul made a half-hearted apology after backlash which prompted even more backlash as the public saw through it resulting in him tweeting that he’s taking a break from making videos and reflect. I should note that Paul dropped out of college to make YouTube videos, maybe he can reflect on his life by going back to school, or mooch off his little brother Jake, whose YouTube career may be next on the chopping block at the rate he’s going
