Legendary makeup artist, actor, writer, director, and producer Tom Savini will be in the director’s chair for a new horror web series! Savini will be directing along with George A. Romero’s daughter Tina Romero, and Robert Tinnell who wrote the series and will produce.
The announcement that the unnamed series had begun filming came via several tweets and Instagram posts from Savini, actress Mandy Simpson, and Savini’s right-hand man/actor Jason Baker who will also star in the series.
Cant reveal too much, but prepare yourself for magic tricks, violence, revenge, and horror in the style of a silent film,” Savini’s Instagram post teases.
“Imagine Oldboy shot as a silent film starring Lon Chaney Sr. It’s violent AF!!!” Baker said on Twitter.
