Fans were crushed when TV’s “Constantine” was canceled by NBC back in 2015 (we still hold out hope that a network will revive it). But the good news is that the animated “Constantine” series will soon premiere on The CW’s Seed streaming service.
Matt Ryan will reprise the role of the iconic comic book character Constantine for the animated series which is said to be darker than the live-action version that we loved so much. The character will be closer to its Hellblazer roots.
Ryan will also appear in the upcoming “Legends of Tomorrow” episode “Necromancing the Stone” as Constantine on March 24th. He’ll also appear in the series’ finale, comicbook.com reports.
