The third season of Netflix’s hit series “Stranger Things” is set to begin production on its third season this April. And all of our favorite characters will be back along with a few new additions.
Variety is reporting that Maya Thurman-Hawke (Ladyworld, Little Women), daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, has joined the cast and is set to play the role of Robin, an “alternative girl” who is bored with her mundane day job. She wants more excitement in her life and gets more than she’s bargained for when she discovers a dark secret in Hawkins.
We’ll be seeing a lot more of one of our favorite characters from last season, Priah Ferguson who plays Lucas’ scene-stealing sister, Erica, has been boosted to a series regular and will find herself, “with an army of her own friends. No longer content with sitting on the sidelines, Erica finds herself on a wild mission to save Hawkins from a dangerous new threat.”
Season three of “Stranger Things” will feature eight episodes and likely won’t premiere until 2019.
