“Good Omens”, Amazon’s upcoming six-part supernatural series based on Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s novel, has added another cast member.
Variety is reporting that “Parks and Recreation” actor Nick Offerman will play the U.S. Ambassador and father to a child Warlock who is thought to be the Antichrist.
“When the Apocalypse is near and Final Judgment is set to descend upon humanity. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing, Atlantis is rising, and tempers are flaring. Everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan — except a somewhat fussy angel, and a fast-living demon are not looking forward to the coming war, and someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.”
Offerman joins the cast also includes Michael Sheen, David Tennant, Jon Hamm, Miranda Richardson, Anna Maxwell Martin, Mireille Enos, Lourdes Faberas, and Yusuf Gatewood.
“Good Omens” has already entered production and is set to be released by Amazon Prime in more than 200 countries in 2019, followed by its premiere on BBC Two in the U.K.
