The second volume of Andy Muschietti’s It has now entered pre-production which means that casting has begun, the final script has been approved, and things are beginning to be scheduled for shooting which will begin this summer.
At this point, only two cast members have announced. Bill Skarsgard will reprise his role as Pennywise.
Jessica Chastain has been cast as the adult version of Beverly, played in the first film by Sophia Lillis.
Written by Gary Dauberman (It, Annabelle Creation), the second installment is said to follow Beverly as the Losers’ Club reunite to face Pennywise again.
Return to Derry when It Part II opens in theaters September 6, 2019.
