Shiloh Fernandez, known for his roles in 2008’s Deadgirl and in Fede Alvarez’s Evil Dead, is starring alongside Kevin Bacon in Syfy’s upcoming “Tremors” series. But that’s not all, he has also joined the cast of Plume, written and directed by Mike Gan.
Fernandez joins the cast that already includes Harry Shum Jr., Josh Hutcherson, Suki Waterhouse and Tilda Cobham-Hervey, according to Deadline.
The film centers on, “a lonely, unstable gas station attendant Melinda (Cobham-Hervey), tired of being overshadowed by her more confident, outgoing co-worker Sheila (Waterhouse). When the gas station is held at gunpoint by Billy (Hutcherson), a desperate man in need of quick cash, Melinda finds an opportunity to make a connection with the robber, regardless of who gets hurt.”
Fernandez will play Perry, Sheila’s boyfriend who finds himself unwittingly caught up in Melinda’s dangerous games.
Jordan Beckerman, Michael J. Rothstein, and Russ Posternak are producing along with Jordan Yale Levine of Yale Productions, Sukee Chew of Hopscotch Pictures and Cranium Entertainment’s Ash Christian.
