Following accusations of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse against “Talking Dead” host Chris Hardwick, AMC has asked the fan’s favorite guest of the show and TWD expert Yvette Nicole Brown to take over hosting duties for the Comic-Con panel later this month.
The 11:15 am to 1:15 pm “Walking Dead” and “Fear the Walking Dead” double panel is expected to include the hit show’s stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Danai Gurira, and Melissa McBride, as well as “Fear the Walking Dead’s” Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Lennie James, and the two series’ executive producers Gale Anne Hurd, Angela Kang, and creator Robert Kirkman.
Odds are the premiere date for TWD’s new season will be announced during the panel, as it has been in the past.
Brown replacing Hardwick at Comic-Con has raised suspensions that she may replace him on “Talking Dead”. AMC has declined to air Hardwick’s other series Talking with Chris Hardwick”, which was set to premiere on June 16th, until they “assess the situation”.
