This September, director Justin Price‘s The Dawnseeker will arrive. Ahead of its release, the trailer for the film, which pays homage to the Predator films, has just arrived.
Starring Franziska Schissler, Alexander Kane, Jason Skeen, and Khu, the film pits mercenaries against a dangerous alien creature.
Set in “2245, the Earth’s sun has dwindled and no longer provides the energy needed to sustain human life. Five hired mercenaries travel to an uncharted planet to collect a rare mineral known as stardust to replenish the dying star. After their spaceship crashes on the alien planet, they are stalked and hunted by a creature far more advanced than anything they have ever encountered before.”
During our most recent interview with Price, he spoke fondly of filming in Oklahoma and stated that in Dawnseeker the character development was crucial.
What we did was focus on the characters and why they were on the planet. When the creature shows up it’s an added bonus.”
The Dawnseeker is set to be released on September 4, 2018, from Uncork’d Entertainment.
